Payment Installment App for Frappe
Payment Installments App for Frappe Marketplace would allow your customers to make payments in Installments. The user can add extra charges, can make advance payments and pay the balance in installments.
What does the Payment Installment app offer?
● Integrated with Sales and Finance Modules- While processing a sales order, based on the Payment Term Template, we can receive payments as down payments and installments. We can set the first installment date and then once we submit a sales order, other installments will be auto- generated.
● Extra Charges- In the sales order item, we can add extra charges as well, like, Freight Charge, Delivery Charges, etc. And this will not at all affect the total sales.
● Separate Invoice for Each Installments- Our app will create one invoice for down payment which would include the extra charges. And for going further, each installment will have an invoice of its own.
How to use the Payment Installment app for Frappe?
How to configure the Payment Term Template- Navigate to the Payment Term Template Menu > Create New Template > Add Payment Terms ( For example- 20% advance, 80% installments)
Create Sales Order- Navigate to Sales Order Menu > Create New Sales Order > Fill in teh details (Customer, Delivery Date, Sale Items)
Set Payment Term Template- In a newly created Sales Order, navigate to “Terms” tab > Select Payment Term Template, the details will auto-set.
First Installment Date- In a Sales Order, under the “Terms” tab > Set the First Installment Date. The other installment dates will be auto-calculated by the system based on the first installment date.
Add Extra Charge- In a sales order, under the “Terms” tab > Click on the “Add Extra Charge” button. Upon clicking this button, you will get a popup to add the item (extra charge) and the amount. Upon confirmation, this will further add a line to your sales order.
Using this, you will be able to add extra charges, like, freight, delivery, etc.
Submit Sales Order - Once you click on the “submit” button, Installment Lines will be auto-created in the sales order along with an Invoice being created for the Down Payment immediately which will include the extra charges as well.
Create Separate Invoices- There is a scheduler in our app which will create a separate invoice for the installment prior to 2 days of installment date.
