Website Shipping Rates module is used to Configure Shipping Cost on sales orders for certain shipping methods in odoo. When customers select these certain shipping methods, they will be redirected to a Thank You page instead of a Payment Page and you can send the order to them on Mail from the backend after setting up shipping prices.
Key Features
Add company shipping Cost from backend.
Enable/Disable company shipping charges from the shipping method in backend.
After creating a quotation, Thankyou message will be showing on the portal.
- Navigate to Inventory and then Click on Configuration.
- Open/Create Shipping Methods, in which we want to configure shipping cost.
- To set up shipping charges manually, enable the 'Company Update Shipping Charges' option here. This will take the customer to the Thank You page and you can configure and make changes in the order accordingly.
- Now, open Website Shop and add product in the cart.
- Then, complete checkout process.
- Here, we can see shipping method will be already selected.
- Now, click on Pay Now button to complete order.
- Here, add Billing or Shipping Address and click on Confirm button.
- Here, we can see Quotation will be created and thankyou message will be showing 'Thanks for Quotation, we will be contact with you soon'.
- Now, open Quotation, Shipping method will be already added in order line.
- Here, we can edit shipping charges and click on Send Mail button.
- Mail sent to a customer of this quotation.
- Here Customer got a mail to pay for quotation.
- When, customer payment is done, Sale Order will be created.
