There are five types of categories available, and trigger of those categories depends on the model:

  • Values Updated: this type of trigger is used for common field updates such as to add followers, or tags, etc.
  • Email Events: it triggers automated actions while receiving and sending email.
  • Timing Conditions and External: Triggers are available based on date field, after creation of a record and after the last update in any records. It triggers the actions based on the external event using webhook.
  • Custom: It triggers the action on save, on deletion and on UI change.

We can also apply a filter here. After that, we can add an action.

  • Execute Code: This action triggers the python code; we can write the code using the variable defined.
  • Send Webhook Notification and Execute Existing Actions: It executes some child actions that we have defined or from there we can create child actions to be executed and send the webhook notifications on defined models.
