How To Display Discounts and Ribbons on Odoo Website
E-commerce websites are heavily used for transactions & transfers of goods & services by sending information online. Odoo website builder allows you to easily build these websites for free. The Odoo website is a very useful platform for companies & businesses to showcase their products & features to customers. The website sale module of Odoo allows the user to create & design the shop page and display products to the customers on the website.
The best way to attract customer's attention to the store/website is by offering discounts to the customers on purchases. You can easily draw a customer to your shop/website by offering them a chance to save money. Which in turn increases the company's business.
In this blog, we are going to Enable Discounts & Ribbons on Odoo Website by following these Simple Steps:
1) Enables Discounts
2) Select Advanced Price Rules
3) Pricelists Configuration
4) Open the Website and Select Configured Pricelist
5) Open the Product and Select Ribbon Style
So, let us start.
Discount on Website
STEP - 1
By default, Discounts is not enabled in the Odoo System. So, First of all, we'll enable discounts in odoo following these steps:- Settings >> Website Settings >> Enable Discounts.
STEP - 2
After enabling a discount, now we will configure pricelists on the website.
After enabling pricelists, select Advanced price rules (discounts, formulas) in Pricelists.
STEP - 3
Then we click on Pricelists that'll navigate us to the pricelists menu where we can configure the pricelists.
STEP - 4
We click on the Pricelists button, the pricelist menu opens up and here we can configure the pricelist.
Company:- Select the Company Name
Now, we will click on Price Rules tab and Configure Pricelists.
STEP - 5
Pricelist Items:-
Apply On :- Select Discount Product Type (All Products, Product Category, Product, Product Variant).
Compute Price :- Select Discount Type (Fixed Price, Percentage, Formula).
Percentage Price :- Here, we set a Percentage Price.
Then, we click on the Save & Close button to save our configured pricelist.
Here, we can see the Configured Pricelist.
STEP - 6
Now, we will open the Configuration Tab and set a Discount Policy.
Discount Policy :- Select Show public price & Discount to the Customer ( In this policy show public price & after discount price separately on website).
Then, we click on the Save button to save our pricelist.
STEP - 7
Now, we will open website shop and select the configured pricelist.
Here, we can See Discounts on the Website showing each product.
Public price & price after discount are showing separately of each product.
Ribbon & Image Full Size on Website
We can add ribbon on a website in odoo following these simple steps:-
Website >> Products.
STEP - 1
Now, we will select any product and open the eCommerce tab.
Then, select Sale Ribbon in Styles and Click on save button to Save the Products.
STEP - 2
Now, we will Open Website Shop and Check our Configure Product.
Here, we can see Sale Ribbon is on Configured Products.
STEP - 3
Now, we will add a Full Image Style on a Website. So, again we select any products and open the eCommerce tab.
Then, Add an Image Fully in Styles and Click on the Save Button to Save our Configured Product.
Now, we will Open a Website Shop and Check our Configured Products.
Here, we can See Full-Size Images of our Configured Products.
