From Ayodhya to Kanak: Celebrating the Heritage of Hindu Culture on January 22, 2024

The significance of January 22, 2024, goes beyond just being another date for many, as it commemorates the auspicious consecration ceremony of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. Even a 5-year-old can share the joy and pride associated with this momentous occasion.

For the members of Kanak Infosystems, this date holds more than one reason for celebration.

I have already told you the first reason, wanna know the other reasons? Hope on to the bandwagon and let me take you through the day. 

As I woke up, a sense of positivity and spirituality enveloped me, filling my heart with gratitude as I embraced the new day. The anticipation was noticeable, and with the knowledge that it was the grandest Diwali for us, everyone was encouraged to adorn themselves in their finest ethnic attire.

A 500-year struggle was reaching its conclusion, announcing the arrival of Lord Rama to his sacred birthplace. 

The air buzzed with happiness and anticipation as saffron balloons, flags, and "Jai Shri Ram" banners adorned localities, societies, offices—painting everything in festive colors.

Arriving at the mall where my office is situated, the excitement wasn't just about the "JanmBhoomi Temple," but also the promise of something more. Instead of hitting the familiar "5th Floor" button in the lift, my eagerness led me to the special "10th Floor." Like a child on an adventure, I explored the new surroundings, eagerly taking in the moment. Spotting my colleagues in the distance, I glimpsed the dawn of our New Beginnings. In case you haven't guessed it, we were inaugurating our new office on this auspicious day.

Navigating the new space, I felt like a kid in an amusement park, thrilled at every corner. The joy was infectious; every team member was not just happy but also emotionally moved by this significant move. It marked one of the happiest moments for our entire team.

Beaming with joy, we commenced the decoration of our space in preparation for the Hawan ceremony. Serendipitously, our timing aligned with that of our Prime Minister, who was conducting the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya at the same moment.

Seated together for the Hawan, a sense of familial warmth enveloped us. The realization gradually dawned on me—this was one of our happiest moments, a significant milestone for Kanak. However, I couldn't help but contemplate the immense joy and the monumental stride towards the ultimate dream this would be for our mentor.

United as a team, we sensed a heightened level of accountability and responsibility. The onus was now on us to reciprocate and contribute to our mentor's journey.

Immersed in our spiritual reflections, the tranquility was momentarily interrupted by the ping of our phones. What unfolded in our company's chat group added to the overwhelming sense of joy.

Our team in Gandhinagar had undertaken a commendable and heartwarming initiative. They set out on a journey to spread happiness and nourishment in their localities through a food donation drive. In a bid to give back to the community and partake in the collective joy of Team Kanak, they committed themselves to satiating both emotional and nutritional needs.

Witnessing every member in our office joyfully sharing in these moments was truly heartening. Following the success of their drive, they ensured to conduct a Pooja at our Gandhinagar office, seeking the blessings of Lord Rama.

To conclude the day, we gathered as a team to share a simple yet authentic delight - a pleasant meal of aloo poori. This delightful feast added a touch of warmth to an already joyous occasion, leaving us not just nourished but also spiritually fulfilled.
