Odoo 17 has come up with its new and improved features. Re-ordering from a portal is one such feature that allows users to re-order the products from its portal. This feature simplifies the reordering procedures for the customers, as they can check products’ availability on the website and re-order it from the portal itself.
Let’s discuss how re-ordering from portal works in Odoo:
Navigate to website > configuration > settings > reorder from portal
By enabling this feature, Odoo allows the customers to re-order from the portal. To check how it works- make a purchase of any product from the website:
From the shop page, we can add a product and proceed to checkout.
Once we complete the checkout process, we can select the payment methods and can complete a payment procedure.
Once payment is done, the order will be confirmed.
Now, to reorder, navigate to customer portal > my accounts.
Here, we can see all the documents related to the user such as sales order, quotations, purchase orders and more. To reorder- go to sales order and open related order and there will be an option of “order again”.
We can click on “Order Again” and Odoo will ask to add the items to the cart again, which will further allow us to proceed with placing the order again.
