👉How to go about the POS Payment Installment Module?
Payment Method Configuration
Go to the configuration settings and locate the "payment methods" section. Once you're there, proceed to create a new payment method with the option to enable the feature labeled as "Mark as payment installment."
Now, please access the POS settings and find the option to add a new payment method. Once you've located it, proceed to add the payment method you previously created, ensuring that it is included as one of the available payment options in the POS system.
Check Default Products Configuration
In the configuration settings under "Sales," please check the default installment and down payment products.These products should already be set by default, but please verify their configurations to ensure they are properly configured for your requirements.
Enable Installment On Sales
Please access the Sales Settings and enable the option for "Installment On Sales."

Create New Installment Order
To begin a new POS session, please initiate the process and add the desired products to the transaction. Once you have added all the products, proceed to the next step and click on the "Payment" button to proceed with the payment process.
Now select 'Payment Installments' Method.
Please click on the payment plan that you have previously created in order to select it for the current transaction.
You will see the default down payments associated with the selected payment plan displayed on the screen. To add a new down payment, click on the "Add Down Payment" button. This will allow you to create and specify a new down payment amount for the transaction.
Enter the new down payment line details
Once you have entered the details, click on the "Confirm" button to proceed and finalize the addition of the new down payment to the order.
Please select the customer for the transaction. After selecting the customer, press the "Validate" button to confirm and verify the customer's information for the transaction.
Pay for a Down Payment / Installment
Click on 'Quotation / Order' Button
Please click on the Updated Quotation to view the installment details associated with the order
Click ‘Pay’ next to the first down payment to pay for it.
After selecting the down payment or installment, it will be automatically added to your cart. Now, simply click on the "Payment" button to proceed with the payment process.
Please choose a payment method and proceed with validation.
If you navigate back to the quotation order, you will observe that the down payment or installment has been successfully paid and reflected in the order.
Backend Quotation and Invoice created
A quotation for the payment installment order is automatically generated through the POS system. Please open the quotation associated with the order we created to view its details and proceed with any necessary actions.
You can access the 'Installments' tab to review a comprehensive breakdown of all the down payments and installments associated with the order. In this tab, you can examine the details of each installment, including the amounts and scheduled dates.
If the initial installment, known as the 'Advance Payment,' has been successfully paid through the POS system, you will notice its payment status marked as complete within the 'Installments' tab.
Along with the quotation, an invoice is automatically created for the payment installment order. This invoice includes the details of the order, including the advance payments or installments. You have the flexibility to pay the advance payments or installments through both the invoice and the POS system. This allows you to choose the preferred method of payment for each installment, whether it is through the invoice or directly at the point of sale.
